How do three friends with a shared passion for great beer set out to make it on their own?
They move halfway across the country from Colorado to Atlanta with a plan to raise over a million dollars. The combination of twenty years of success in the Colorado microbrewing industry culminated on February 17th, 1997 when Sweetwater Brewing Company began producing the equivalent of that "Colorado" taste in Atlanta. Leaving behind successful brewing careers in Colorado, four friends combined their expertise with the common goal of brewing a beer exceptional in quality and consistency for beer lovers in the Southeast.
